2019 Top winning schools by participation:

  • 1st Place Public School: Jefferson Elementary School, with Coordinator Kari Henson, won $250 cash and a $100 PE equipment gift certificate.
  • 1st Place Private School: Medford Montessori School, with Coordinator Jami Donahue, won $250 cash and a $100 PE equipment gift certificate.
  • 2nd Place Public School: Ruch Outdoor Community School, with Coordinators Jackie Auchard and Kathleen Morse, won $200 and a $100 PE equipment gift certificate.
  • 2nd Place Private School: Sacred Heart School, with Coordinator Chris Sinclair, won $200 and a $100 PE equipment gift certificate.
  • 3rd Place: Washington Elementary School, with Coordinator Jennifer Johnson, won $150 cash and a $100 PE equipment gift certificate.
  • 4th Place: Kennedy Elementary School, with Coordinators Amy Morrell and Dave Alonzo, won $125 cash and a $100 PE equipment gift certificate.
  • 5th Place: Hoover Elementary School, with Coordinator Mercedes Dickinson, won $100 cash and a $100 PE equipment gift certificate.

The prestigious Mayor’s Cup Trophy stays at the winning school all year long.

2019 School with the most improvement:

  • Oak Grove Elementary School won $100 cash.

2019 Best school spirit award:

  • Washington Elementary School won the spirit trophy.

2019 T-shirt design contest winner from over 1,000 entries:

  • Findley Howard, a 5th grade student at Howard Elementary School. The Medford Mayor awarded her a framed copy of her artwork as well as custom running shoes from Rogue Valley Runners and a $150 gift certificate to the YMCA.  Check out all of the shirt designs over the years.

2019 Prize Drawings:

  • Taylor Jamieson from Hoover Elementary School won a $125 gift certificate to the YMCA.
  • Kaden Adams from Washington Elementary School won a gift certificate for custom running shoes from Rogue Valley Runners.
