Packet pick-up 10 mile & 5 km

Saturday, April 10 - 6:30 a.m.

Local participants are encouraged to pick-up packets
on Friday - Packets will not be mailed
ID may be asked for. Chip
Timing "For 10 Mile Only"
All runners & walkers will be timed using the ChampionChip tm
State-of-the-Art Timing System.
All participants will be assigned a Timing Chip (transponder) that must
be worn on the shoelace.
All Timing Chips will be removed in the finish line area by volunteers.
All chips must be
returned on race day. Any participant who does not wear the Timing Chip
will NOT be timed.
Participants who pick up their packet but do not run must return their
chip. No transfer
of Timing Chips. Participants who do not return the Timing Chip will
be charged
a $30 replacement fee. |

All course monitoring, support services & timing ,
will cease at 11:00 (15 minute pace) in order
to facilitate other
Pear Blossom activities.

Scholarships - Over $70,000 awarded to Jackson
County High School Seniors who have been active in
cross-country or distance running.

- Baby Strollers/Rollers permitted only in the 5 km - none in the
10 mile due to insurance restrictions.
- All awards will be mailed; 18-under, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49,
and continuing in 5-year age groups male/female.
- First male/female
will receive $250 gift certificate from the Rogue Valley Mall. Ties
broken by a coin flip.
- Oregon Grand Prix Event--Must be registered with USAT&F
- Bill Bowerman Award - First male/female from Jackson County
- Photos will be taken of all 5 km & 10 mile participants by
