10 MILE - OREGON GRAND PRIX EVENT

  • Chip Timed - Time limit: 2:55 (17:30 mile pace).

  • Over 1,800 registered runners in 2011.

  • Certified course is #90012LB, flat, fast, out and back, one hill.

  • No baby strollers.

    Records:

  • Male: Max King - Bend - 49:10 (2011)

  • Female: Deanna O'Neal - Canby 57:07 (1994)

5K EVENT (3.1 MILES)

  • Chip Timed - Time limit: 60 minutes (19:18 mile pace).
  • Over 1,900 registered runners in 2011.
  • Course is flat, fast, out and back within Medford city limits, new course for 2012.
  • Baby strollers allowed.

FOR BOTH RACES

  • Course monitoring, support services and finish timing will stop at 11:15 am. Event open only
    to registered participants due to permits and insurance restrictions.

  • Due to permits and traffic control, any runner or walker starting early will be disqualified and not receive a time.

  • Animals, skateboards, bikes, skates, or other wheeled devices not permitted. Wheelchairs allowed. Baby strollers allowed in 5K only.

  • Age groups: 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, etc. All awards are mailed.

  • 5K Awards: First male and first female receive $100 gift certificate each. Ties broken by
    coin flip.

  • 10 Mile Awards: First male and first female receive $250 gift certificate each. Ties broken by coin flip.

  • No awards for walkers.

PACKET PICK-UP

  • Location: Rogue Valley Family YMCA, 522 West Sixth Street, Medford, OR 97501

  • Time: Friday, April 13, 10:00 am to 8:00 pm; Saturday, April 14: 6:00 am.

  • Packet pick-up is required of all participants. All entrants are encouraged to pick-up packets
    on Friday.

  • Bring confirmation postcard as ID as this will expedite pick-up process. If picking up another person's packet, bring their postcard.

  • Packets and shirts will not be mailed.
